Build Your Business on a Solid Foundation

Most of us start businesses without knowing exactly what it's going to take to succeed. And I believe that's OK. I talk with people daily who want to start a business but don't know how. In the beginning they have mostly hope and a desire to accomplish certain goals. That's exactly how it started for me. Nearly fifteen years ago I wanted to be a mom at home, and still be able to earn a full time income. I knew there was a way to make it happen, however at the time I didn't have the knowledge or skills to make it happen. << MORE >>

Is This A Good Time For Network Marketing?

If You Love What You’re Doing You’ll Never Work Again!

I expected a different answer when I asked ChaCha  (www.chacha.com)how many people like their jobs today.  ChaCha said, “Today, less than half of all Americans say they are satisfied with their jobs, downfrom 61 percent 20 years ago”.  That’s just not right!

Most of us spend a significant portion of our time making a living... aka JOB.   Imagine a world where mostof us enjoy what we do for a ...

Disappointments Are Inevitable But Misery Is Optional

The first major disappointment I recall happened when I was about six years old. I wanted to be a majorette (a baton twirler)  for Halloween, but the shiny emerald green costume with the elegant gold tasseled shoulders was too small. At the last minute my mom put me in my brothers old clown costume and off to Grandma's house we went. Trick or treating for me that year was miserable. I got some candy, but I did not enjoy the evening.

Most of us experience disappointments early and often. We know that feeling ... << MORE >>

Paying Attention to What Really Matters

Has it happened to you yet?  If not, it's just a matter of time before it does.

I've had several moments in my life when I've been forced to pause and take a closer look at what I'm paying attention to. It's easy for me to get distracted by things that don't really matter and the next thing I know, I'm heading down a path that quite honestly is not taking me where I'm meant to go. Have you been there?

I enjoy the career that I have today as a result of one of those moments about ... << MORE >>

After the Thanksgiving Conversation is Over.....

The conversation at the Thanksgiving dinner table was lively; it usually is!  The news about family and friends flows freely over turkey, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie. There were plenty of blessings to be thankful for. As the conversation progressed we learned that a couple of the teens among us have moved on from high school to college, there's a new driver in the house (and more on the way), two babies arrived this year, and one couple may have found the reason for their infertility.... hoping that they will bring a new bundle of joy with them ... << MORE >>

What Beverage Companies Don't Want You To Know

Sometimes You've Gotta Play Even When It Hurts!

Do you remember running around the field in your High School PE class andthen without warning a “stitch” would hit your side? The first time that happened to me I panickedand stopped immediately. I was afraid that I was injured and if I kept going it would get worse. Coach saw me and yelled, “Keep going! It’ll get better! Sometimes you’ve gotta play even when ithurts!” I didn’t believe her, but she was the coach. So I pressed hard on my side and got goingagain. Eventually the pain went away andI accomplished the goal… one mile! Itwasn’t pretty, but I got there. << MORE >>

The Price is Right & The Future is Bright!

I met Charles & Maria at a BBQ at a friends home over the summer. They have three young boys. Charles is a real estate agent and Maria is a pre-school teacher. Eventually the conversation turned to what I do..... Maria said that their income had dropped, but they were "hanging in there". Their eyes and comments revealed the very real fear they are living with. They wanted to know more about my business. We spoke several times over the next few weeks. They liked what they heard, and it was obvious that they wanted to get a business started. They loved the product and everything made sense. But they continued to delay making a decision.... not quite yes and not quite no. << MORE >>

Rethink What You Drink

I joined Yoli and here's why..... Over the years I have come to understand and appreciate the value of paying attention to trends. Here are a few trends I have been paying attention to recently.... 1. The number of beverage choices we have continues to increase and most of these beverages are filled with sugar, caffeine, and a variety of preservatives, additives, fillers, etc. For the most part our beverages provide us with pure calories and little or no nutritional value. 2. In spite of the low nutritional value, people spend a lot of money on their beverages (even in today's economy). 3. The trend toward healthier consumption (food and beverages) is growing... KFC now offers grilled chicken and have you noticed the organic aisle at your grocery store?<< MORE >>

Welcome to My Blog!

I'm excited to be sharing my thoughts and insights with you about my life as a Professional Network Marketer on this new site.  I'm not sure what image comes to your mind when you think of a Professional Nevtwork Marketer... but here's what I know.  We are very entrepreneurial.  We tend to be people who enjoy organizing, operating, and assuming the risks of business ventures.  We value things like freedom, flexibility, and opportunity.

We tend to enjoy helping other people and we approach entrepreneurship with a bit of a twist.  A typical entrepreneur succeeds by finding a need (a problem) and filling it (deveoping a product).  We succeed by selecting a product that we love, partnering with the Network Marketing Company that developed the product, and then telling others about it.  We spread the good news about the fabulous product and the company compensates us when people buy the product.

It can be a real win / win scenario for the Network Marketing Company, the Professional Network Marketer, and everyone who learns about the wonderful product!  Join me on my blog regularly and learn more about my life as a Professional Network Marketer.  I have been enjoying this journey for about ten years now... many peaks as well as a few valleys along the way.  I am committing myself to developing this blog so that I can share insights from my journey with you.

The primary focus of this blog will be on driving revenue with right thinking, simple technology and of course connecting and building relationships that support and serve!  Check back soon and often to hear more.  I look forward to the possibility of working with you as well as the wonderful journey!

JOY & BLESSINGS!
